Where can I donate an adjustable bed on Long Island, NY?
I have a Twin Adjustable Bed in like new condition that I would like to donate to a deserving organization. The bed was $1500 when purchased. I cannot find any charity that will take it.
Anyone know of any organization on Long Island, NY that handles adjustable beds?
If you mean a hospital type bed, you can call your local senior center, as they have medical supplies that they loan to senior citizens. They will probably refuse the mattress, but they may take the bed.
Otherwise, try a homeless shelter, same caveat.
