I have to share a room with my sister?!?
Me and my sister are moving in the same room together in less than a month. I'm 13 and she's 7. The room is fairly big and is a regular square room. We're still debating if whether we should get one big bed, a bunkbed, or two twin sized beds. We have decided that we'd like green and purple. And we'd also have to get two desks for our homework and things. I already have two bookshelves. So what else could we use for storage?
So the main questions are:
1:What can we use for storage?
2:Should we get one big bed, bunk bed, or two twin sized beds?
3:Would the colors we agreed on look good together?
4:How can we make our room more "modern" and "comftorble"?
5:What stores would you remommend to look at? (I live in the US)

As a twin and a bedroom sharing pro, I'll give you my advice.
1. I would suggest getting some inexpensive but still somewhat tasteful looking storage boxes from a place like Ikea or the Container Store or something. Maybe a small chest of drawers, that way you could each have a drawer something.
2. Two twins, definitely. Not one big bed, becuase if you guys argue or are angry at one another or something you won't like to sleep next to each other (LOTS of experience with that one. heh heh!) Bunk beds, I have found, aren't particularly comfortable nor spacious. Two twins is probably the best because you could put them on opposite ends of the room or something to give yourself some space.
3. Yeah.
4. Don't get alot of childish or kiddy-looking furniture. What may look cute now won't be some much a year or two later.
5. Ikea is great because they sell lots of pretty cheap, but reasonably good-looking stuff that looks nice together.
