New Bed...any ideas?
My fiance and I are buying a home within 2 years, and I really want to get a new bed because we are currently using his old one (totally not something I'd pick out!! EVER)
I was wondering if anyone knew where to get beds (the frame, and mattress) rather cheap? Like cute ones....im thinking simple, clean, and modern? Or maybe a sleigh bed?
Anything in King size, preferably. And ideally under $1000, or $1100 at the most.

IKEA has some very nice and inexpensive bed frames, etc.
They (IKEA) even sell a very nice mattress there - believe it or not. It is one of their pricier mattresses, but inexpensive when compared to going to a mattress store.

I agree with the others, do not scrimp on the mattress part of your purchase. I have been through the sleep number bed, water beds, water chamber beds and anything else you could think of, but IF you can afford to spend the money, a Temperpedic mattress will serve you for years and years. I have one, and have never slept better in my life.
